What has been your experience related to the ease of finding a job with PeopleCaddie?

The online platform was easy to navigate, [and working with the team made] it a seamless process from onboarding to guiding me through life as a contractor… I highly doubt that other staffing agencies offer this personalized touch.

 

Have you noticed any differences or similarities in the pay rate of opportunities from PeopleCaddie vs Permanent Jobs? 

There is no comparison – working 5 months (during busy season [for PeopleCaddie]) where 50+ hour weeks were common) equated to just about what my annual salary was in the same position at my old firm.

 

How would you describe the quality of the engagement (job) with PeopleCaddie?

The quality of the job was top notch, as it was with one of the largest accounting firms in the world. So much so that I accepted a full-time position at the conclusion of my contract.

 

Could you talk about your overall experience with PeopleCaddie?

I had a very positive experience and it was everything I had hoped for and more. From the ease of getting a contract, to actually performing the work and being well-compensated, and to it being a springboard to the next phase of my career, it was an experience I don’t take for granted and would pursue again in the future.

 

What would you say to other contractors thinking about using PeopleCaddie?

Do it! You won’t regret it.

The PeopleCaddie team is growing! In the past few months, we’ve added some wonderful new members to our family, and we’d like for you to get to know them. First up, we’d like to introduce you to Sean Pratscher. Sean is our Business Development and eMarketing Manager, and he does an amazing job every day hunting down new connections and adding new tools to our repertoire. Welcome, Sean!

Name: Sean Pratscher

Position: Business Development and eMarketing Manager

Responsibilities: New client acquisition and business development. Development/Ongoing management of email strategy and marketing automation. CRM and marketing automation/reporting systems admin. Create and document sales and marketing automation best practices used in new hire and ongoing training.

Family: Lauren (wife), Peregrine (daughter, 4), Wolf (son, 3)

Interesting Facts/Hobbies:

  • Having a 3 and 4 year old leaves little room for hobbies, but when I find 5 consecutive hours on a Saturday, I’m most likely at the golf course (I’ve only gone twice this year).
  • I love to cook – handmade pasta being my current obsession.
  • When I can, I very much enjoy traveling.
  • I also enjoy woodworking and painting.
  • If not for COVID, I would be competing in my 3rd Triathlon this month.
  • My wife is a yoga instructor.
  • I am a relative of Wild Bill Hickok, and will rarely sit with my back to the door when at restaurants and other public places. I also always play Aces and 8’s when playing poker.
  • I’ve founded/co-founded two businesses – both marketing agencies.
  • My long term goal is to live a life as close to that of Indiana Jones. “Archaeologist and Treasure Hunter” sounds WAY better than “Business Development and eMarketing Manager”

A New Addition to the PeopleCaddie Family

We are proud to announce that our Director of Recruiting, Travis Moya, and his lovely, well-accomplished wife, Molly, recently welcomed a new addition to their family.

Emma Louise (pictured below) arrived on May 1st, and weighed in at an impressive 9 lbs. and 1 ounce. Emma and Molly are both doing well.

 

At this point, it is too early to say who she looks like, but anyone who knows the Moyas can hazard a guess as to who we are rooting for.

We congratulate the Moyas and welcome Emma to the PeopleCaddie family… and as a token of our affection, PeopleCaddie will happily divert Travis’ commissions into the college savings plan of his choosing.
